Volume I Tabular Hints

Vol. 1 is the Tabular List, used to verify code selection and ensure compliance with official guidance regarding code assignment. Expert content in Vol. 1 includes coding tips from home health experts, as well as illustrations and plain English definitions of medical terms.

Volume II Tabular Hints

Volume 2, the Alphabetic Index, is the place to start the code selection by searching for reason for patient encounter, such as disease, condition, injury or sign/symptoms. Vol. 2 also contains special tables to aide in the code assignment process.

Procedures Hints

Procedure codes are 4-digit codes (00.XX). Start with the Vol. 3 index. Search for descriptive words such as excision, debridement, arthroplasty, replacement, closure, insertion. Use the Vol. 3 Tabular to find the correct code for placement in M1012 on the OASIS C form.

Home Health Coding Center Subscription

Subscribers to Home Health Coding Center are purchasing access to an online service for a period of 12 months.

Each subscription is for one user. Log-ins and passwords cannot be shared. Multiple subscriptions can be purchased for one or many locations by calling an account representative at 1-800-865-9873. Enterprise wide licenses also are available.
